Coverage Period

POV One™ smart sunglasses come with a 1-year limited hardware warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use conditions.

What's Covered

  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • Hardware failures under normal use conditions
  • Defective lenses originally supplied by POV One™

What's NOT Covered

  • Accidental damage (drops, impacts, scratches)
  • Water damage beyond the product's stated splash/sweat resistance
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care
  • Modifications, including third-party lens replacement
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches on lenses from regular use)
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repair attempts
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact us at hello@povoneglasses.com within the 1-year warranty period. Please include:
    • Your order number
    • A description of the issue
    • Photos or a short video demonstrating the defect (if possible)
  2. We will respond within 1–2 business days to confirm eligibility and provide a prepaid return shipping label.
  3. Ship the defective unit back to us using the provided label. POV One™ covers return shipping for valid warranty claims.
  4. Once we receive and verify the defect, we will either:
    • Ship you a replacement unit at no additional cost, OR
    • Issue a full refund to your original payment method

Repairs

We do not currently offer repair services. All valid warranty claims are resolved through replacement or refund only.

Warranty Transfer

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product. Proof of original purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required to file a claim.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall POV One™ be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product. Our total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product.

Out-of-Warranty Service

After the 1-year warranty period expires, repairs and replacements are not available. The product is considered fully out-of-warranty.
